Mr. Smith- AA

Name: Mr. Jordan Smith

Email: smithjs@fultonschools.org

Occupation:  Assistant Administrator

Bio: Mr. Smith is thrilled to be part of the Roswell community and is looking forward to working with and supporting the students, staff, and families of such a great school. After beginning his career as an engineer (Go Jackets!), he returned to school to pursue his passion for education and became a science teacher. He spent over 14 years at Johns Creek High School, teaching a wide range of science courses, with a particular focus on physics—often referred to as “rocket surgery.”

For the past three years, Jordan has served in student support and administrative roles, most notably as the school’s 504 Chair, where he has worked closely with students, families, and staff to support student success. In addition to his academic contributions, Jordan has been actively involved in athletics as both a head coach for multiple sports and an assistant athletic director.

Jordan is married to his best friend, Joy, who’s also a science teacher. Outside of school, you’ll probably find him down by the river supporting his daughter in rowing—or out for a run (usually at some very terrible early hour of the morning).
