2026-27 Scheduling Information
Overview
The Dual Enrollment program provides students the opportunity to take college courses and receive both college and high school credit. Students can participate by taking all college courses at the college campus or online. Or, students can take high school classes at RHS and one or more college courses either at the college campus or online.
Dual Enrollment courses are taken off campus, students are responsible for ensuring reliable transportation to/from school. Student Parking is not guaranteed for those participating in Dual Enrollment. All students need to follow the RHS parking application process.
The cost of college tuition is covered by the Dual Enrollment program. Students are, however, responsible for course-specific supplies (lab goggles, lab coat, etc.), and fees that are incurred throughout enrollment (late registration fees, lab fees, etc.).
A student may not receive funding to repeat or retake a course.
A student is no longer eligible to continue to receive program funding, for future terms of enrollment, after withdrawing from Dual Enrollment course(s) two times.
Students are responsible for meeting the FCS deadlines for applying to colleges and submitting the FCS district paperwork. This is just a part of the steps for the Dual Enrollment process. Students must also adhere to the deadlines established by the colleges for completing and submitting the college admissions application(s) and any supplemental materials. Failure to meet a deadline (either with RHS/FCS or the college) can result in delay in participation in the Dual Enrollment program by one or more semesters.
